Our Constitution

Mother and Baby with Nurse

The NHS Sheffield CCG Constitution was made between the 81 Member GP practices of NHS Sheffield Clinical Commissioning Group and has effect from 17th January 2013 when the NHS Commissioning Board (now NHS England) established the CCG.

The Constitution sets out the arrangements made by the CCG to meet its responsibilities for commissioning care for the people to whom it is accountable. It describes the governing principles, rules and procedures that the CCG has established to ensure probity and accountability in the day to day running of the CCG and ensures that our decisions are taken in an open and transparent way. Importantly, it confirms our intention to ensure the interests of patients and the public remain central to all our commissioning decisions.

You can download the NHS Sheffield CCG Constitution here.
