Events, Participation Groups and Meetings

CCG Events

The CCG holds events throughout the year when we want to hear from the public and patients about particular health services.

Our events will be posted here.

Governing Body

NHS Sheffield CCG Governing Body meetings are held in public every other month.

You can find out details about upcoming Governing Body meetings here.

Patient Participation Groups

Patient Participation Groups (PPG) also known as Patient Reference Groups (PRG) are a route to which patients can advise General Practices on topics that truly matter to them and to help identify and resolve problems on wide patient interests.

Patient Participation Groups (PPGs) became a contract requirement in England from April 2016. Each General Practice (GP) in Sheffield is therefore required to have a representative group established and functioning over the course of this year.

Sheffield Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) hold quarterly Sheffield Patient Participation Network meetings that provide an opportunity for members of PPGs from across Sheffield to come together, network, and find out about and contribute to projects happening across the City.

Sign up to receive information about the Sheffield Patient Participation Group Network here.
