College students will quiz health leaders from NHS Sheffield Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) about local NHS services and healthcare as part of the CCG’s Annual Public Meeting (APM).

Young people from Chilypep (Children and Young People’s Empowerment Project) will also be at the event, speaking about key issues affecting them and how they are working with the CCG to address these areas.

Dr Tim Moorhead, GP and Chair at NHS Sheffield CCG said, “We always aim to make our public meetings interactive and engaging so we are thrilled to have college students and Chilypep coming along to ask our Governing Body questions.

“People attending will also hear about what the CCG has been working on over the past year, how money has been spent and our plans to make Sheffield’s health services sustainable for the future.

“There will also be the opportunity to ask the CCG Governing Body any questions about healthcare and the NHS in Sheffield.”

Local Olympians from the Special Olympics will also be dropping in to the Meeting to talk about their experiences at the Games earlier this summer.

The meeting will take place on Thursday 28 September 2017, 2-4pm at

Sheffield United Football Club. Registration is from 1.30pm.
