NHS Sheffield CCG and our partners in the city have developed a five year strategy for Health and Social Care in Sheffield. This is known as 'Sharing Sheffield', formerly known as 'Shaping Sheffield'. 

Organisations from across Sheffield are regularly coming together to help in the development of the strategy and agree how we improve health and care for people in the city.

Why are we doing it?

Doing things the way they have always been done, is no longer an option. This is why we are working together with the whole of Sheffield to look at how we shape services going forward.

We created a Twitter hash tag #sharingsheffield, to develop relationships and to have conversations with different organisations and the public.  

How it fits with the wider plan

NHS Sheffield CCG's 2016/17 Commissioning (or Operational) Plan details year one of the CCG's actions to contribute to the five year Sheffield-wide Strategy and the South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw Sustainability and Transformation Plan (STP).
