On 27 July 2016 representatives of NHS Sheffield CCG and Patient Participation Group (PPG) members met to talk about how they could work together, to start an ongoing conversation to benefit people across the city. 

We organised this event as we understand that Patient Participation Group (PPG) members want to make healthcare in Sheffield better and we feel that collectively we could make more of a difference to health services across the region.

The aims of the event:

• An opportunity to discuss issues that affect your surgery and other primary care services in the city
• An opportunity to share issues about wider health services in the city
• An opportunity to meet people from other patient reference groups and hear their experiences
• A chance to begin a conversation that could benefit us all

• Start to explore how we can feed your experience into our commissioning decisions
• Start a conversation that will give us greater insight, now and in the future
