This is an inquiry -plus- Freedom of Information regarding Covid Prescription/s.

Please tell me if from your N.h.s. Local C.c.g office if you can offer if required by patients via special ordering application through N.h.s. Local C.c.g., the following preventive and/or therapeutic prescription drugs found useful in medical research papers against Covid:

Favipiravir (Avigan)
Ivermectin
Famotidine (Pepcid Ac)
Hydroxychloroquin + Azithromycin + Zinc
Bcg vaccine

Response

There is no process for special ordering application through CCG of the medication detailed.

NHS Sheffield CCG has no restrictions in place to prevent prescribing of these medicines with any prescribing being made by the relevant prescriber based on a clinical decision on a case by case basis.
