Cervical Cancer Prevention Week 2017
24 January 2017

This week (22-28 January) is Cervical Cancer Prevention Week and we are reminding all the women out there of the importance of attending screening appointments.

The campaign is hoping to dispel many of the myths which women have in relation to cervical screening; in the hope to increase the uptake across South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw. You can read some of the myths on the Fear or Smear website here http://fearorsmear.dbh.nhs.uk/.

They have also pulled together  a short survey  (for women aged 25+) to gain an insight into the behaviours and attitudes towards cervical screening. It only takes a few minutes to fill in - you can do that here https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/6M92RJ6.
