Sheffield GP speaks at national conference
11 May 2016

Sheffield GP and Chair of NHS Sheffield Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) Dr Tim Moorhead will be speaking at The Westminster Health Forum in London on Thursday 12 May.

Dr Moorhead, a Senior Partner at Oughtibridge Surgery, will be speaking about commissioning devolved health and social care services: workforce, accountability and integration. The aim of the seminar is to bring together stakeholders and policymakers, with the opportunity to consider priorities for health and social care commissioning in England.

Delegates will assess challenges for Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), regional area teams and local authorities in delivering the seven objectives set out in the Government’s mandate to NHS England for 2016-17, including the establishment of a new CCG assessment framework.

The Westminster Health Forum aims to provide the premier environment for policymakers in Parliament, Whitehall and government agencies to engage with key stakeholders in timely discussion on public policy relating to health and healthcare.
