Interpreting services provided in Primary Care Practices

Interpreting services provided in Primary Care Practices

NHS Sheffield Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) carried out a review of interpreting services provided in Primary Care Practices (GPs, Dentists and Optometrists). We asked for people's views on the key issues being covered – utilising friends/family/children as interpreters and the difference between telephone and face-to-face interpreting. The responses helped us to provide a better and safer service for patients who require an interpreter.
