I would like to make a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 

1) How many NHS consultants work privately?

2) Which hospitals have employed a learning disability nurse? Which haven't (if applicable)?

3) Do you take part in the the Learning Disability Mortality Review (LeDeR) Programme?

Yes: Sheffield is active in this work within the city and also across the region.

If so I would like to request;

3a) All internal and external communications discussing plans to implement the Learning Disability Mortality Review LeDeR from 2016-present.

This request is too broad ranging in its definition and would not be achievable within the timescales set by the FOI process to identify all communication over a three year period. However, please find enclosed our Terms of References for the CCG led LeDer Steering Group. 

3b) How many reviewers do you currently have?

Sheffield CCG commissions our provider organisation, Sheffield Health and Social Care Trust (SHSC) to provide the LeDer reviewers. In addition the CCG has a half time Senior Nurse post as an assessor who works with the SHSC assessors. We are currently recruiting additional assessors, having successfully bid for resources from NHS England for this purpose. For more detail, contact SHSC as the provider - foi@shsc.nhs.uk. 

3c) All correspondences between yourself and NHS England when they chase you for completion of mortality reviews to the recognised standard.
